Eagle Scout Park
& Community Garden

1040 Virginia Street
Dunedin, Florida

Many may not be aware but there actually are several small, thriving farms in Dunedin. But what is a body to do when he or she has an interest in growing things but may not have the land or knowledge to do so? That's where Community Gardens fill a special niche that is appreciated by so many.

Eagle Scout Park is just such a place. The Park is dedicated to the Scouts who put years of work into establishing this small spot of green behind the fire station in Dunedin and formerly known as the Virginia Street Recreation Area. (Find out more about its beginnings in the links section below.)

Today's visitors can enjoy the paved walking path, the tennis/pickleball courts, the picnic pavilion or stroll through the Community Garden and ask questions of the friendly gardeners who may be present.

They do ask that if you bring your pups please keep them on a leash and do pick up after them. You are free to look at the many things growing in the garden plots but please do not touch as they are a labor of love and important to the families tending their gardens.
